The Consolato Generale d’Italia in Lugano is pleased to promote the exhibition Roberto Crippa. Il vortice dei colori in its Sala Carlo Cattaneo. The show, which pays homage to one of the great protagonists of the Italian twentieth century can be visited from 13 February to 14 March 2025 . Curated by Paolo Repetto and organized in collaboration with Repetto Gallery, the exhibition presents a selection of twenty works from private collections, including sculptures, paintings, collages and drawings, which testify to the extraordinary creativity and versatility of Roberto Crippa (Monza, 1921 – Bresso, 1972), whose artistic career has often been unfairly overlooked.
Thanks to the contribution of BG Suisse, a catalog has been created which documents the works on display and contains a critical text by the curator Paolo Repetto.
