Lugano
Repetto Gallery is pleased to present the exhibition Il canto della terra, an exhibition project included in the review L’Uomo e il Clima, which will animate the city of Lugano from November 2024 to May 2025. Based on an idea by Gianluca Bonetti, the exhibition explores the complex relationship between humanity and climate change, and includes exhibitions, conferences, events and film screenings that will animate the city.
The exhibition, which will be held from 20 February to 11 April 2025, explores the intimate and complex relationship between human nature and the natural world. In a visual journey that celebrates its eternal dance, the viewer is taken on an artistic pilgrimage where art becomes an echo of the whisper of the wind, the tremble of the water, the breath of the earth. In a time of increasing urbanisation and disconnection from nature, the works of the artists presented in the exhibition invite us to reflect on our ancestral connection to the earth, our responsibility towards the environment and the intrinsic beauty of the natural landscape.
