A little more than two years after the death of Christo Vladimirov Javacheff, the Castle of Miradolo is dedicating to Christo and Jeanne-Claude, the couple who revolutionized the concept of the work of art and its making process, the exhibition Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Projects, which displays drawings, collages, photographs and videos of their most famous works, along with works by some of the Nouveau Réalisme and Land Art artists who influenced their artistic production and thinking. The exhibition, which opened on October 15, 2022, will be extended until May 1, 2023.
Curated by Francesco Poli, Paolo Repetto, and Roberto Galimberti, with the general coordination of Paola Eynard, and realized thanks to the collaboration with the Christo and Jeanne-Claude Foundation in New York, it presents about sixty works accompanied by an extensive photographic section and the screening of videos documenting the creation of the monumental art installations.
