We are pleased to announce the great success of the exhibition Caravaggio – Van Dyck – Sassolino. Tre capolavori a Vicenza at the Basilica Palladiana, which attracted an incredible 62,000 visitors. The commitment and dedication of curator Guido Beltramini, director of the Palladio Museum, and curator Francesca Cappelletti, director of the Borghese Gallery, created a unique link between the works of art and the architecture of the Basilica Palladiana, creating a winning dialogue between the masterpieces on display.
No fewer than 20 accompanying events were held in the Basilica during the exhibition’s opening period to further involve the public: lectures, performances and workshops on the role and impact of time involved a wide range of disciplines, from photography to philosophy, dance and astrophysics, not forgetting literature.
