E.ART.H – Eataly Art House in Verona hosts the exhibition project Bruno Munari. La leggerezza dell’arte, curated by Alberto Salvadori and Luca Zaffarano, in collaboration with the Repetto Gallery, which traces the milestones in the career of Bruno Munari, an artist who spanned the entire 20th century, and offers a clear reading of the creative processes underlying Munari’s poetics and spectacular and playful forms.
The exhibition is divided into thematic sections dedicated to some of the areas of research that have characterised Bruno Munari’s work from the very beginning: the study of the dynamics of a Futurist-inspired form; the balance between the rule and the chance of Dadaist inspiration; the ambiguous perception of forms and colours, experimented in various contexts; the conception of an inexpensive and transportable sculptural form; the hybrid production, between art and design, of objects with an aesthetic function; the fundamental work in publishing and graphics.
During the opening period, various educational workshops dedicated to the artist’s creative design thinking, summarised in the famous Munari Method, will be offered to pre-school and primary schools, curated by the Bruno Munari Association and designed by Silvana Sperati.
