Re-Materialization of Language 1978-2022 / 01 October 2022 — 03 June 2023

The exhibition, curated by Cristiana Perrella, Andrea Viliani and Vittoria Pavesi, is proposed as the first attempt at a philological re-construction of the exhibition Materialization of language curated by Mirella Bentivoglio, inaugurated in 1978 as part of the XXXIX Venice Biennale.
The exhibition is presented on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Mirella Bentivoglio (Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, 1922 – Rome, 2017).
The original exhibition will periodically and progressively re-materialized by the interventions of three contemporary female artists — Monica Bonvicini (Venice, 1965), BRACHA (Bracha L. Ettinger, Tel Aviv, 1948) and Nora Turato (Zagreb, 1991) – and through a plurality of events, both digital and live.
